KRIB is the most influential employers’ organization in Bulgaria, uniting 12 500 economic operators and 141 sectoral business organizations, producing three quarters of the country’s GDP and accounting for more than three quarters of the export of Bulgaria. By its activity, the Confederation aims to contribute to the development of all economic sectors as well as to the strengthening of the international economic relations between Bulgaria and other countries. The Confederation assists in creating favorable economic environment, increasing the investments and opening new jobs. KRIB contributes to the development of the market relations, the increase of the Bulgarian export and the raise of the prestige of the Bulgarian industry in the world economic community by ensuring representation of the interests of the Bulgarian business in the country and abroad. KRIB is a member of the National Council for Tripartite Cooperation and its commissions. It has representatives in the social dialog on national, sectoral, regional and European level and presents opinions on draft laws in the Bulgarian Parliament. KRIB drafts particular policies for overcoming the lack of qualified labor force and creating conditions for a developed, flexible labor market.
