Description

The course “Reduce waste and material outputs to support the green transition of local ecosystems” aims at facing the foundational concepts and implications of the circular transition, namely the transition from linear economy models to circular ones. Learners will also learn from company case studies, presenting different kinds of circular business models in the advanced manufacturing, wood and furniture and textile sectors. They will also learn about waste management strategies and second raw materials markets, to increase the use of recyclables, amplifying circularity and rationalizing the exploitation of natural resources for zero-waste industries and communities.
